I am new to this list and am not a vet, just a ferret lover who has had 12 =
furkids now(6 of them adopted). I am sure that some on this list will disa=
gree with Me, but I have always fed Iams kitten(supplemented with ferretone=
of course) and I have never had any problems! I had 1 that had insulanoma=
and had surgery 3 1/2 years ago and still doing fine! And then 2 losses t=
o adrenal, neither were surgical candidates because they were in such poor =
condition by the time I got them. The point of My post is that whatever Yo=
ur opinion of Iams kitten, if You have a "starved" or malnurished ferret th=
at only wants to eat Iams, then give Him all the Iams He wants!!! Eating h=
is fill of Iams has to be more nutritious than a much reduced diet of whate=
ver brand!! I would also get some HIGH-CAL or similar high calorie gel(min=
e all ove it!), I've also heard pure whipping cream suggested for calorie s=

t's the only thing he eats on hisown!i've tried every soup recipe i could f=
ind with every version of baby meat i canget.the lamb he doesn't wrinkle up=
