For this to happen to both at the same time sure sounds like something in their environment, food, etc. I know you said you've run a toxicity screen, but I'd still be lookin'.
And a blood glucose of 10? Yeah, that's not conducive to life, so that needs to be redone. If that's accurate, all I can say is, it's pretty amazing that he's alive.
