Difficulty urinating can be a sign of prostate enlargement
caused by adrenal disease--the inability to urinate properly
is serious and he should be seen by a vet as soon as
possible. If he is managing to urinate a normal amount,
then maybe you are better off waiting for the ferret vet
than going to the emergency room and getting a vet who
doesn't necessarily know ferrets, but that would have to be
a judgment call on your part.
