A similar situation occured w/my Rikki. I don't know how much to tell you because it did not end up "good". I know about the daily hind end "washes". I ended up having to put vaseline on his back end because it got kind of "raw" - I think from giving him "back end baths" every day.

I hope it is just a minor muscle pull. We ruled out everything in our Rikki, but a muscle pull/disc pull, a neurological issue (that would move up the spine and cause continual paralysis,) or a soft tissue cancer in his spine that could not be seen on an x-ray.

Anyway, I'll tell you more if you want, but I think you should stay positive right now. Let me know if you want to know more about my little guy's situation.
