Yes, they can grow back. I seem to recall Dr. Kemmerer saying at the symposium in Atlanta that when she removes adrenal tissue, she is extremely careful flushing out the abdomenal area. Just a few stray cells dropped anywhere in the abdominal cavity could cause a repeat problem.

If the adrenals are removed 100%, then yes, that's the end of any adrenal problems. But if that were the case, Koda would have died without any supplemental hormones which you say you didn't give him. So there must have been some adrenal tissue somewhere. And in that case, you can have a return of all the same problems.
