Hi, Liz,
It may not be an injury at all. Ker Avon suddenly
lost all use of his rear legs last September. The
culprit was lymphosarcoma which had spread to his
spine. The condition was fatal as the paralysis
spread until he had problems breathing. We lost him
in October.
I hope your ferret doesn't have a similar problem and
there are many possible causes for hind end paralysis.
