Interesting to know which things occurred. I was lucky, the ferret I worked
on did well and I was given the advice of surgery don't wait by a top vet I
worked with with my own feret before I was a vet. In the cases she has seen
they were all cancer and her husband had only one case of pure obstruction
from sludge. I did the surgery cleaned everything up and the ferret did
great. Wish they all could, but still son't know what caused the sludging
in this case.
I was told that the only thing that causes jaundice in a ferret it bile duct
obstuction. Good luck to you.
