Subject: after surgery care

I tried the archives but didn't seem to find what i
was looking for - I'm curious for after surgery
recovery procedures - my 7.5 year old boy had his
right adrenal, a mass off of his pancreas, and a mass
off of his chin removed yesterday. I've given him
(thankfully, not forced) about 5 tablespoons or so of
chicken gravy (close to bob church's recipe) but I'm
curious how often I should be "suggesting" that he eat
for how many more days?
