Hello,

I have a female ferret, she is about 1.5 years old=85.she has always been v=
ery hyper but over the last few weeks she seems to sleep a lot more and doe=
sn=92t have the energy she used to=85.sometimes when I take her out to play=
she just curls up and goes to sleep=85.also she was sick to her stomach tw=
ice in about a three day period (threw up a bit of food and water)=85.that =
was about 4 days ago now and she hasn=92t been sick since. She is eating, =
drinking, and pooping as usual. I took her to a vet, the only one in my to=
wn=85he says he has a lot of experience with ferrets=85.and he said her hea=
rt, breathing, temp, and spleen were all fine=85.and no lumps or bumps that=
he could feel. I have noticed that her hair on the tail is a bit thinner =
but defiantly not bald=85.pretty much just the softer fuzz underneath the l=
onger hair is gone=85.but it is easier to see the skin underneath=85.the ha=
ir on the rest of her body is normal and no sexual aggresion. I have just =
finished school and my roommate had a ferret also and we kept them together=
=85they were really close=85..now that I have finished school and separated=
from my roommate I thought I would get another ferret (male he is about 11=
weeks old now) to keep her company=85.I have been slowly introducing them.=
I=92m not sure if this is causing her to act like this because of increas=
ed stress or if there is some other underlying cause (this all started abou=
t the same time as I finished school about 4 weeks ago and past week I=92ve=
really noticed it). Any advise or help you could offer me would be greatly=
appreciated. Thanks

David
