Subject: 7 year old ferret, swollen belly and hair loss

Hi everyone. My name is Bari and I have a 7 year old ferret who's tummy just became very swollen, he feels three pounds heavier and is starting to lose his hir in his tail and back. His eyes also seem to be bulging somewhat. Not himself at all. To be honest he seems as though he is dying (my heart is breaking of course). He is having trouble walking a little especially his hind legs. He is also lethargic. Right now we just do not have money to take him to the doctor. Believe me if we could we would, I already spent $700.00 on my other one, they are well worth it! My question is doesn't it sound like CHF or Adrenal issues and what can we do to make him more comfortable until the end? Please don't think bad of me for not taking him to the vet, I really do not have the money. I would do anything, I just want him not to be in pain. Thank you.
