I've never had a ferret wrapped in an ace bandage after surgery either
(out of say, twenty five surgeries). A little peroxide to clean the
incision every day and that's it. Occasionally I'll have one that can't
stop licking the incision and I'm forced to make him wear a cone
(Elizabethan collar?). I've never had a ferret take to the collar.
It's always a very sad and frustrating thing. At least it's temporary.
