A couple of weeks ago, I had to rush my 7 year old to a new vet 80 miles from
my home. He had been having other problems and I had tried several local
vets with no luck. Actually the urination problem was a new problem. The lady
I took him to is fantastic. She did a bypass operation on him and gave him
a new outlet because something was enlarged. This vet actually takes her
patients home with her so she can keep a closer watch for problems. More
problems followed (all normal for an aging ferret) but I wanted to pass this on
because it seems a catheter may only be a temporary fix.
