Thanks for the feedback! Fritz is not usually one of those "big guys" --
he's usually around 2 lbs. 13-15 oz. So he's a pound over what his body's
used to.

Got the good word today -- his bloodwork is fine. So he's being put on 3
tablespoons of food a day (generous tablespoons, breakfast/lunch/dinner) and
he's on an exercise regimen that includes lots of walks outside, not to
mention the usual 5 hours a day he spends out of the cage.

i have a perfectly healthy early altered male that weighs in at 4lbs
2oz....the vet said he is just a big guy...he runs around just liek the
rest of the
guys and is active n the morning for 3 hours and the evening for 2(the
time i
take them out for the day)
