Thanks for the info. You mentioned sucralfare, amoxi and either biaxin or Metronidazole to treat helicobacter. We have him on sucralfate and amoxi, I'm pretty sure there is an ulcer involved, probably as you said from the stress of long term illness. I'm going to talk to the Vet about adding Biaxin. I talked to her this morning, she mentioned Flagyl, isn't Flagyl the brand name for Metronidazole? I'd rather do Biaxin, although I've heard of one ferret who actually like Flagyl!
