Subject: Insulinoma Prescription

I am confused about what has been prescribed to Bob after 2nd Insulinoma surgery. From what I understand from this group's past post's; after this surgery the insulin level can go way up. So wouldnt it be sending it higher by giving glucose? at the same time giving pediapred. I am so worried that I am doing the wrong thing. Meanwhile I cant really tell if he is having low blood suger symptoms because he is on liquid valium. Somebody please make some sense of this to me so I can sleep at night.
