I'd consider a partial obstruction in the stomach, fur ball, fabric, etc. I
usu see a combination of obstruction and ulcers, so if the ulcer treatment
isn't doing the job, then I would look harder for an obstruction. These are
easy to miss. I have seen ferrets misdiagnosed. Also I have seen them have
good days and bad days and eventually more bad then good, and they can lose
almost 1/2 their body weight. Hope this helps.
