I would only use the products you usually get at a vet, like
frontline, advantage, revolution. If Hartz is the one sold
in petstores, and supermarkets, then I would not use it. The
ingredients are not the same and I don't think it has not been used enough on
ferrets to make a comment, but I also can't even say it works
well for fleas. Frontline and advantage are awesome, frontline
can even work up to 3 months for fleas, one month if you want
it to protect for ticks as well.

After reading the emails on flea control, I bought Hartz Advanced Care. The active
ingredient in it is phenothrin...85.7%. Is this the same as advantage and if not is it
safe for ferrets? Thanks, Lisa
