I had a thought after getting all your repliesI can be a little slow sometimes. I've
been told that brewers yeast and garlic powder a good way to fight fleas. If so, what
about that? I just don't have the money for the Advantage right now, I already have
an apt for the dog to be vaccinated for EVERYTHING, costs a damn pretty penny. But
i dont want to risk the fleas finding their way to my fuzzies and makin em crazy.
Who invented fleas anyway and for what purpose? I'd like to smack em. Thanks,
Lisa, Simba, Timon, Sunny, Otto, Scrat Nala and Sebastian

[Moderator's Note: Garlic can sometimes cause a life threatening form of anemia in
members of Carnivora, and Brewers Yeast lowers blood glucose -- which is why it is
used with diabetes -- so if there is any chance of the ferret having insulinoma extra
of that would also not be a good idea.]
