There's another aspect of your note which people should recall, as well as your experiences. Later alters DO get adrenal neoplasia. I haven't heard of any definite difference in how often the 6 month of lower ones get it compared to earlier sterilizations, though hard data is lacking. Whole ferrets get adrenal neoplasia sometimes, too, and Dr. Ruth even ran into an early adrenal neoplasia in a whole ferret if I recall a past post correctly. Whole ferrets might we4ll get adrenal neoplasia less often, though. (There are other, and some of them much more serious usually, health problems which whole ferrets can get, though.)
