I want to start by saying thank you to everyone here. I had my first fuzzy for 6 years after adopting him in CO and he was never ever sick. When he started having problems, and I asked you were all so helpful. We found out that Weiner had Insulinoma which you all guessed right away. Unfortunatley, 3 weeks ago, I came home and he was having a massive seizure. It was to the point that he started screatching. I cry still as I write this. I rushed him to the emergency vet and did the only thing I could, I sent him across the rainbow bridge to wait for me. I miss him terribly. But I wanted to thank you all.

Now I just adopted 2 new fuzzies from the animal shelter and I had 1. The one I have has adrenal issues, but the two new ones are always itching. I bathed them with flea shampoo (ferret kind of course) and there were some like brown stuff I could not get off the skin. I never see fleas or anything, but they ALWAYS scratch. Am I missing something? If it makes a difference they are both white. The female has red eyes the male does not. I also noticed she has the Marshall ferret ink on her ear and he does not. She is Very thin and fast he is fat and loves to sleep. They are a joy, but I dont want to wash them to often since not good for the skin. Any suggestions?
