We've had good luck with Feline z/d with one who was sensitive or allergic to poultry in general.

Recently, we tried the single protein foods with green pea as well as Feline z/d one another with IBD. He turns out not to have any such difficulty with food as part of his problem, though (given his assortment of medical problems it is good to see something working). We'll probably still buy more, at times, thiough, simply because all of our ferrets turned out to really like them once they agreed to try them.

In the FHL Archives at
http://fhl.sonic-weasel.org
the write-ups on Rinky Dink discuss a ferret who was especially hard to manage.

BTW, we're going to be trying sub-lingual B vitamins on our current IBD boy, Sherman.
