Hi Sharon,
You might want to talk to your vet and clarify
the 'hard" comment. I think he meant it was too
hard to remove (as in too difficult for him to remove
it).
Lupron would be a good choice as you plan for the next
surgery. Lupron will have an effect on the gland, and
it should get the hormone levels lower before the next
surgery. Unfortunately some adrenal glands (carcinomas)
will continue to enlarge despite Lupron, so no guarantees
can be made there.
