Yesterday I took my 7 year old ferret into the vet cause she was loseing alot of
waight and not eating but drinking alot of water, Dr did blood test on her and her
blood count was down to 45 she also has insulinoma now. the drs have my Robin
on Prednisone 20 mg twice a day, My Robin seems to be doing somewhat better
but im wonderring if theres any thing i can do to help her along like give her more
vitemins or what, she use to be so active and steals socks and boxer shorts but now
she just doesnt do the things any more like she used to and i feel like im not doing
the right thing for her. I feel i have a very good vet and ive used them for years with
all my animals but im just i guess making sure my Robin is getting the care and
treatments she needs for this insulinoma she has now. please let me know if i can
help her besides just giveing her this preds shes on now Susie..
