This question is similar to those asked by other people, but reading through them got kind of confusing, so here is my situation. I have two ferrets who have all their shots up to date and in June, we have to move in with my parents. My parents have two dogs and 1 cat who are all indoor/outdoor. They are all up to date on their shots and get treated for flea and heartworm prevention on a regular basis. Also, the ferrets will be going outside. From what I've gathered, I should give the ferrets .1cc of Advantage for cats once a month during the summer and 1/2 HeartGard pill during warm months, but how often? Please let me know what I should do to protect my girls!
