I asked this question a while back and I don't think it was answered. We t=
ook off in another direction...LOL

As a general rule, how much does a ferret need to sustain it? The assumpti=
on is that it is not eating on its own at all. With wildlife, the rule of =
thumb is to try to feed about 20-25% of body weight in grams, per day. Say=
the animal weighs 100g. Then, the general rule would be to feed about 20-=
25ml, spread out over a 24 hour period. This mostly applies to babies and =
formula, but I was wondering if there is a similar rule of thumb for ferret=
s, or any adult animals for that matter. I know the fat, calorie, etc. con=
tent of the food has a bearing on it but am just looking for a rough idea. =
And, I know the scale can tell me for sure, but still am looking for some =
guidance.

Any nutritionists out there?
