Could this be a case of confusion between canine Cushing's and ferret
adrenal? I ask because secondary infections and eye problems are both very common
with Cushing's dogs.....in my two "adrenal dogs" (both with actual adrenal
tumors instead of pituitary and one living and one who died in 2000) I've seen
cataracts, glaucoma, KCS (dry eye), uveitis, and one of them was thought to have
developed sudden acquired retinal degeneration syndrome (SARDS) but was
diagnosed as progressive retinal atrophy (PRA or PRD) instead.
Just a thought.
