I thought you would want to know that Sherman now is initiating many kisses, doing a bit of prancing (Doesn't have energy for much but is showing loads of happy signs), wagging his little tail happily for games he intiates like "Mr. Socky Head" (a short sock he puts over his own head then moves around blindly) and has twice done his "Roll Over" trick to beg nutrient treats. He is also starting to go through a lot of food, has stopped regurgiating, and some of his stools are actually solid.

All those meds are no fun but most of the time he's having a ball now which is real change from being close to losing him a few times over recently.

Over the years we've had a number of ferrets who really try hard when they have problems and are real survivors but Steve and I think that Sherman has that determination to keep trying to live more strongly than just about any ferret we have or have had in our family. I think that attitude is his biggest asset in his fight to get back to a decent life, but he'd never have a chance without his medical care and meds.
