Hi Katharine, as most ferrets/polecats hunt in total darkness
underground I would think that being blind is not as great a hardship to
them as we think it is. Blind ferrets do crash into things when running
and playing but so do my non blind ferrets. A ferret's sense of smell is
well developed so just a little marking with subtle scents and not
moving the furniture about is all that is needed. Chris.
