My ferret seems like he hasn't been himself lately, not too active, just kind of lays around. Yesterday morning he became inbalanced, falling over on his side like someone with vertigo and acting erratic. I gave him Karo syrup and some kibble, not knowing what else to do and he took a nap and was better after awhile. He still just lays around though.....
Any ideas what this might be? My vet is supposedly ferret-wise, but more than once I've taken ferrets to him only to be told "I don't know" so I'm apprehensive to take Buddy in before I've armed myself and have an idea what this could be.
