Subject: help - stepped on B'Elanna
Message-Id: <6.1.0.6.0.20040607135810.01b29250@pop.central.cox.net>
Hi, all. Just a bit ago my SO stepped on our 3 year old girl,
B'Elanna. Not with full weight, because SO panicked, pulled her foot up,
and fell herself. :-(
B'Elanna seems to be okay. We've palpated all her vertebrae, her ribs, and
her abdomen, and there is no apparent tenderness or guarding. Her abdomen
is not distended.
She is walking and playing a bit, so I don't think it's an emergency,
otherwise we'd already be on our way to the vet.
The only problem is that she is acting a bit lethargic. I was wondering
what to watch for to decide if she's just upset or if there's more to
it. I'm sorry if this topic has already been touched on; I used the
searchable archives but was unable to find much (I'm not very good at the
search thing :-/). Does anyone have any suggestions? We'll be keeping an
eye on her for a while.
