I gave my girl Carafate and it worked wonders for her ulcers. I did have to
crush it and mix it in a little Nutrical, though, so perhaps there are some
absorption issues with it being in pill form.
As for the 'zole, yes, it must be absolutely vile to ferret taste buds
because none of mine have ever taken it willingly no matter what I've mixed
it with. It seems they have "metronidazole radar." :-) I love hearing
everyone's suggestions on it though. I will have to try some of them the
next time I have occasion to do so.
