I took my ferret to the vet last night and his glucose was at 59. The vet said he
wasn't altogether sure if Buddy has insulinoma or if something else could be going
on, so he put him on pediapred to see if it will cause improvement.
He also checked his ears, as he has quite a wax buildup and there's no infection, but
he saw bacteria so we're giving him drops for that.
How long can a ferret survive with insulinoma while on meds?
