Subject: Lumps by lower jaw

My Baby (7-8 years old) has 2 lumps at the end of her lower jaw, 1 on both
sides. They seem to be lentil shaped but pea sized and hard. Do ferrets
have any lymph nodes or glands there? Baby is going to the vets tomorrow,
she also has a distended abdomen and I'm scared that it's the dreaded
ascites.
She is not a good candidate for surgery or anaesthesia, she had a dental
about 4 weeks ago and her heart and breathing stopped under anaesthetic but
my vet got everything started again.
