We are looking for advice for our little one Sasha. A few months ago, she began to lose hair on her chest and we noticed her vulva swelling. We brought her to the only vet in the area with any experience treating ferrets and he said she either had an adrenal tumor or was not completely spayed. We pumped vitamins and antibiotics into her for a week, prior to him doing surgery. After having her go through surgery, his comment was, "Well everything looks fine". He was unable to find anything left from the spaying and there was not a tumor. The vet said she may have "a second bladder" as there were ligaments attached to a growth near the bladder. As I mentioned before, he is the only vet in the area that treats ferrets and he has basically washed his hands of Sasha's situation. PLEASE HELP! She is very active and still loves to play with us and her 5 "ferret siblings".
