Mellisa,
This is really just anecdotal, but definitely it sounds to me like she's turned the corner and will probably make it if you keep up the supportive care.
My Nana nearly crashed and burned after what we thought was a simple left adrenal surgery (she still had the right adrenal, but it apparently wasn't working, and Nana went Addisonian and had a lot of complications). One of the many rather nasty things that happened to her in the hours and days that followed was massive bruising and opening of her wounds - abdominal incision, multiple places on her legs where IVs had been placed or placement had been attempted but failed because her circulation was so poor. She also developed mottled, bruisy, speckled-looking spots on her skin elsewhere on her body, in places totally untouched by surgery or needles. It was very DIC-like, although I don't know if it was a true case of DIC, and she hovered near death at my vet's house for two or three days, but she did recover and is fine today.
That was maybe three years ago. It sounds to me like your girl is making much more rapid progress, so I would be very optimistic.
With fingers crossed and hope going out to you and Boo,
-Pam S.
