Boo is doing even better today! She astonished me last night by snubbing her nose at the baby food mush and going right for the bowl of dry ferret food! I suppose she doesn't like my cooking lol. She is really starting to act like her normal self again. She is active and even playing between naps. The bruising is really starting to fade and she looks 100% better than just a day ago!
She is back at the vet getting her daily Heparin injections. The vet said he is going to remove her iv line this evening. She will only need one more Heparin injection on Saturday morning.
I think I am going to send some flowers as a thank you to the vet & staff as soon as my checkbook recovers. I am so grateful that the DIC was caught early and treated aggressively.
