Thanks to all who have responded to my message regarding Sasha. We are currently in the Sarasota, FL area and any information regarding vets who specialize in treating ferrets would be extremely helpful. We recently moved to the area and the one vet, after several calls to inquire about her condition, claimed he was the only vet in the area, having 15 years experience treating ferrets. As mentioned in the original e-mail, poor Sasha went through surgery with no results. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
