While I certainly feel for Sasha, what she went
through *MIGHT* have happened with an experienced vet,
although with pronounced symptoms like she has it's
kind of hard to believe. Our vet always waits for
symptoms to develop for a while because he's gone in,
not been able to tell which gland to take, closed up
the ferret and waited for a second attempt later. He
now prefers to let the disease progress a little so
that he's sure he;ll be able to tell which gland to
take. Our vet has 34 years of experience with
ferrets, often seeing a dozen or more in a day.
