well I am certainly no vet, but Troy Lynn suggested it and she has nursed
sooooooooo many back to health I figured it was worth a try. It seems to coat his
mouth and make it so much easier for him to eat. He was actually up this evening
begging for treats. I've noticed a huge difference in his ability to eat baby food if I
don't give him the carafate. I've been tilting his head to the side and drizziling the
carafate over the hole.(the hole is closing up).

I hope one of the vets can comment on this. I hope I'm wrong and Carafate has
more uses than I know of, but I just don't see how this can help in the mouth, given
the way Carafate works.
