I don't know... doesn't sound that odd to me. Seen plenty of ferrets that get into a litter box, decide, "Nah, I don't really have to go" then go a bit later or find a "better" place to go. Who knows what goes on in their little minds. :)
If she's eating, playing, defecating normally otherwise, it's probably nothing.
