We have not SEEN ANYTHING like this SUkie.

Our lupron is given to ferrets (10 presently) who have either cardiac or
other medical problems - or have previously had a left excision.
The policy made at the shelter where placement opportunities are not high
is lupron rather than second surgery.
We have had ferrets on lupron for up to 14 months with great results...
seeing Only 1 loss thus far due to prostatic complications - that was 2
years ago Rex who had received 14 mos of monthly injections at 9.5 yo he
was a MF shelter kiddo!

[Thanks, Alicia, what I am curious about are the ones who have not had adrenal
problems who are given only one injection of a low level of Lupron in the Spring, not
ones who are constantly on it, but it is good for us all to also learn about those
because that info can help many. Nine and a half years sure is a fine lifetime!--
