Hello all,
I'm new to this list. I live in NEw York and Have a four year old ferret named Morgana. I took her to the only vet listed in ferretcentral.org and it turns out to be very expensive. I paid $150 to find out she has a mast cell tumour on her neck. They have now quoted me a price of $750 for the surgery and blood work to have it removed. Does anyone have a Manhattan alternative that is more reasonable? I can't have my ferret running around with a tumour but there is no way I could possible afford that. Help.
