I can tell you from Hilbert and then Mornie having to have measured feedings to be sure they had enough fluids that Hilbert (normally a 3 pounder) can fit 40 ml max in his stomach and then is really sloshing so he usually prefers no more than 35 ml at a time. Mornie, who is 2/3 of his weight can and does fit over 50 ml and still begs at that but we stop her then. Neither is at all over weight and both are athletic and young.
