I can tell you folks odor varies greatly in the meat provided. We do feed
meat suppliments to all our pet ferrets!
When we feed dark poultry to ferrets the odor is significantly greater than
when we feed white meat. Of course there is greater fat content in the
darker poultry as well. Though I have not studied the other nuances
between the meat diets.
