Hello,
I am looking for other suggestions or treatments people have used for their
ferrets that have had or have a bleeding ulcer.
I have a 5 year old female albino ferret. She has had a bleeding ulcer for 1
1/2 months. Lately, she has gotten worse. She is on 3cc preds, 1/4 tab of
10 mg pepcid, and Saturday put on .5 proglycem. Her blood count was 21. 20cc
of Sub Q once a day. And to top it all she has diarrhea.
She is responsive, but weak. She is a fighter.
I would like to find out what other people may have done for their ferrets
with this or similar to this situation.
