Hey Alicia,

Thanks so much for your input. Great info.

I am definitly having blood work done for the anemia, her bun level and whatever else the vet thinks she needs. As for the lupron she has had a 4 month, then 2 one months and then just recently another 4 month. We have had really bad luck with bi lateral also. Almost all that have had adrenal are on lupron because of a return of symptoms. I am very leary of bi lateral surgery because the closest vet who can treat an addisonian crash is 2.5 hours away and only there 3 or 4 days out of the week. Age also has a lot to do with that kind of descision. Lupron has been highly successful for everyone but Jubilee. I have also been considering a melatonin implant for her.

Thanks for the info on the baytril. I know that an overdose can cause temporary blindness but was not aware that extended use could cause permnanent blindness.

As for the anemia, would Jubilee's gums be pale or any other symptoms showing?

Does anyone know what casuses DIC and if anything can be done in advance if there is a possibility of a recurrence?

HappyTails,

Karen and the Scruff You Gang
