Can an enlarged spleen cause difficulty breathing in a ferret? I have a approx. 4 year old male that came into my rescue and he has an extremely large spleen and seems to have a hard time breathing. I am taking him into the vet tomorrow, but I have lost faith in my vet for various reasons and haven't found a ferret knowledgeable in the area.
