In the male, benign neglect can lead to a swollen prostate gland and a
urinary blockage. In the female it can lead to life threatening anemia.
There are medical treatments which help. The 4 month depot of Lupron has
proved to be very effective and is very expensive and the mink Melatonin
implant is fairly effective and pretty cheap. Neither of them stops the
growth of the adrenal tumor. Visit www.miamiferret.org and check out the
health section. It has very good information on adrenal. I am not a vet.
