I adopted a seven year old ferret June 20. His owner died, Bear was left with the grandmother, she broke a hip, he went to a shelter and I adopted him, all this since the end of May. He wasn't eating so I syringe fed him. I have had him to the dr three times. He started eating on his own again, got bad diarrhea quit again. He was on clavimox, now on flagyl and has had a cortisone injection, two sub-q injection, and is on liquid prednisone and pepto bismol. He is dropping weight rapidly and is depressed. Any ideas?
