Has a skin scraping been done by vet?
Is it on both sides or one side? Fur loss from adrenal disease is bilateral (both sides).

also look into things like mechanical fur loss, mites (? not sure if any of those fit so this is guess just in case), ringworm (which is actually a fungus), etc.
